· 1966 Second Place Oregon State Wrestling Championship. Lost 5-4 in OT 148 lbs.
· 1967 and 1968 Oregon State High School Wrestling Champion 157 lbs. Undefeated in high school wrestling 1967 and 1968.
· 1967 Oregon AAU High School Freestyle Champion and 3rd Place in Greco-Roman
· 1967 Member of the Oregon High School Wrestling Cultural Exchange Team to Japan

· Entered Stanford University with help from a Wrestling Scholarship.

After the War Protest shortened the college year in 1970, I spent two years doing volunteer teaching in a rural agricultural school in the Philippines. I married Melania Maing, from the Philippines in 1972, worked and saved in Portland.
College
· 1973-75 Completed a degree in Biology (with Honors) at Stanford University.
· 1975-1979 Studied Medicine at UC San Francisco, School of Medicine. I spent 3 months in Davao City slums teaching primary caretakers (Katiwala Program) to identify and treat endemic tuberculosis.
· 1979-1982 Completed internship and Family Practice residency at the General Hospital of Ventura County.
Career
· 1982-88 Worked as a solo, family physician for Yolo County in West Sacramento, CA and received State of California SNAP grant to implement electronic medical records.
· 1988-1993 Physician and Business Manager for the Blevins Medical Group, Woodland CA.
· 1993-Present Family Physician with Woodland Healthcare, Woodland CA
· 1998-2001 Masters Degree in Medical Informatics, UC Davis, CA
· 1995-2002 Treasurer and Board Member Davis Water Polo Club, Davis, CA.
I was drawn into water polo and swimming by my two daughters. Ligaya, competed on the UC Davis varsity for 4 years and is a third year osteopathic medical student. Lisal won the NCAA Div III 400 IM championship in 2004 and is currently a junior at Claremont McKenna College.
· 2004-present Associate Medical Director for Information Services, Woodland Healthcare and lead physician on the EMR implementation team.
· 4 times District Champion
