The Class of 1961 will hold a 61st Reunion on:

Back Alley at North Bend Lanes, 1225 Virginia Ave., North Bend.
Turn left on Hamilton three blocks past old Keizer Hospital.
$15.00 cover charge for each alum and/or guest.
No host bar or meals. That means we don't have to charge you.
We will collect the cover at the door.
We need info for response by snail mail and email or phone for both:
Donna L. Gould
96079 Kentuck Way Lane
North Bend, OR 97459
541-756-5464 (home/message)
[email protected]
and
Sheila Banks
1152 N.6th St.
Coos Bay, OR 97420
541-297-5028 (cell)
[email protected]
If you are in contact with any classmates, pass on the news or let them know that this is on the MHS Alumni site.
We need a head count by the first week of August so there are enough staff at the facility. And let us know if you will not attend, too.
Here are three motels:
Quality Inn North Bend (old Pony Village Motor Lodge), ph. 541-756-3191;
Mill Casino and Hotel, ph. 541-756-8800;
The recently remodeled Global Inn (Old Timber Inn), 541-808-0700.
Over that weekend, there are things to do.
As you are aware, Covid postponed the true 60th Celebration, and life got in the way.
Hope to hear from many of you and see just as many.
The planning committee of Donna, Sally, Sheila, Pat, Gayle, Jeani, Frances, and some of the others who gather for lunch once a month look forward to a successful turn-out.

Over that weekend, there are things to do.
- The Harding building was torn down, and the new Jr. High was built at the back of that lot next to Pirate Stadium.
- There is a new Eastside Elementary,
- Bunker Hill is now used for Lighthouse Charter School.
- Blossom Gulch is a mixture of Admin and CE2 classes.
- Allegany School belongs to the Allegany Parks and Rec. district and also has their Post Office.
- Coos River is owned by a church group.
- And Englewood was just demolished to make way for something else.
