Honoring the Past,
      Investing in the Future

We are all proud to be Pirates, and we have a lot of alums of which we can be proud.  Emmy, Tony and Grammy winners,  Olympians, the first aviator to fly over the poles, leaders who have become mayors throughout Oregon as well as many Pirates in the state legislature.

Acclaimed Alumni include a Pirate who commanded Elgin Air Force Base, the largest Air Force base in the free world.
Pirates have done well in the business world, too.  A Pirate has been the Executive VP of Stores for Crate and Barrel and a Pirate co-founded Columbia Management Company.

There are Pirate leaders aplenty in the world of Education, including a Lewis & Clark College professor and author who once
was named "Oregon  Professor of the Year".
Another Pirate won the Presidential Award for Excellence in  Science Teaching in 2006.  The award included a $10,000 award and a trip to visit the President in Washington, D.C.

We are also well represented on Broadway, TV and the music industry.  A Pirate won a Tony for Avenue Q.  His brother has won Emmys and Grammys.  Another Pirate picked up two Emmys for his work on the TV show '24'.
What about the Arts?  How about a Pirate showing one of her collections in the National Museum of American Art located in Washington, D.C.?

We hope you enjoy exploring our proud heritage as you voyage through the Alumni website.  We also hope you can contribute to Marshfield's Community and Memorial Scholarship Fund to help develop future Pirate Greats!

In 2014, sixty three Pirate graduates received scholarships for post high school education and training from the Community & Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Visit our Scholarship Fund page to learn about the Scholarship program and view the notable Pirate Greats and Friends of Pirates who have had scholarships endowed in their name.  You can contribute to established endowments in the name of one of these Pirates, or start an endowment for any other Pirate you wish to honor.

      Go Pirates!

Sign up for email newsletters.  We currently publish one newsletter each winter, but we would like to send out letters a little more often.   The more alums we have who choose to receive the newsletters via email, the lower our costs and the more often we can publish.  You can opt out at any time.
